The Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PSDIF) Faculty of Pharmacy USU, established in 2009, is organized in accordance with Ministerial Decree Number 212/U/1999 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Doctoral Programs.

PSDIF is supported by good facilities and infrastructure and teaching staff who are experts in their fields. Research at PSDIF can be divided based on the fields of Pharmacology, Clinical and Community Pharmacy, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Biology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The research results obtained by lecturers and students in this program have been successfully published in reputable international journals.

Currently, PSDIF has succeeded in obtaining B accreditation. The doctoral degree is awarded after promovendus demonstrates mastery of in-depth knowledge in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, which is demonstrated by the ability and skills to research independently. The results of the study must show novelty published in reputable international journals which are expected to add to the repertoire of knowledge and provide new solutions to problems in the health sector, especially in the pharmaceutical sector.
